Where have we been?????

So I thought blogging would be a great way to keep everyone up to date on our daily lives. I guess I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. The last couple of months have been a whirlwind for us. In July Jake and I had engagement pictures taken. We also found a house and started the whole process of buying our first home. We received our keys to the house at the end of August,but we had our work cut out for us. We painted the entire interior and had new flooring put in most of the house. We moved in the first weekend of September. We moved the first weekend after Karli started school. Talk about Crazy!!! Last weekend we went down to California for a wedding. It was nice to have a couple of days to relax and play in the pool.Karli is in the 3rd grade this year and loving it. She is back in her ballet and tap dance class. She had decided that she would like to try basketball, so she will be playing that this winter.I think I should have you all up to date now. More to come soon....(or a few months from now, w/ my track record)We love you all, and hope all is well!

Welcome to our blog! I thought this would be a good way to keep everyone up to date with our lives and our wedding plans!

Jake and I got engaged on Valentines Day of 2008. He totally surprised me. For those of you who don't know the story; here it is..... I was at work, and he showed up! I thought it was really sweet that he had dropped in to visit me ( still clueless as to why he was really there.) The next thing I know he is down on one knee with a ring in his hand asking me to marry him! Of course I said "yes", and now the planning begins. We set our wedding date for November 16,2008. So far everything is falling into place.

We are very excited to be starting our life together as a family. Karli is thrilled about the wedding and becoming a "Scott" We recently just celebrated here 8th birthday, school ends in a couple of days, and she just finished her first dance recital this last weekend.

We are also in the process of searching for our first home. Needless to say we are quite busy as you can tell, so we will try and update this regularly, so everyone knows what is going on with us.
